Why does your pet need to get in on the fun?

This contest offers a unique opportunity to showcase your pet's adorable personality while making a significant impact on the lives of homeless animals in our community. By entering, voting, or reserving a special date in the calendar, you're directly supporting PAR's mission to rescue and rehome animals in need.

Let me let you in on the details...

Entry Fee: $10 per photo submission. Each entry guarantees your pet's photo will be featured on a specific date in the calendar, chosen by BarkHop Studio. Plus, your entry includes 15 votes to kickstart your pet's journey to a calendar feature!

• Voting: Every vote costs $1, with a minimum purchase of 5 votes. Encourage your friends and family to support your pet by sharing your entry on social media and rallying votes!
• Contest Period: The contest kicks off at 4:00 PM Eastern Time on Saturday, April 5, 2025, and concludes at 8:00 PM Eastern Time on Sunday, May 4, 2025.

Who will win?  How will they win?  What will they win? 

The top 12 entries, along with a special Judge's Choice, will win a professional photo session with BarkHop Studio. These sessions are scheduled on specific dates in May and June at our studio located in Glenmoore, PA, just a mile north of the rescue. The top vote recipient will have the honor of gracing the cover of the 2026 calendar, while the remaining winners will be featured as pets of the month.

Reserve a Special Date for your pet

Want to commemorate a significant day in your pet's life? For just $10, you can reserve a specific date in the calendar to honor your pet's adoption anniversary, birthday, or any other special occasion. This ensures your pet's photo appears on the day of your choice, making the calendar even more personal and meaningful.

1. Enter the Contest: Submit your favorite photo of your pet through our contest platform. Remember, your pet does not have to be a PAR alum—ALL pets are welcome!

2. Vote: Browse the adorable entries and cast your votes for your favorites. Each vote equals $1, and every dollar goes directly to supporting PAR's mission.

3. Reserve a Date: Secure a special day in the calendar to feature your pet's photo.

4. Pre-Order the Calendar: Ensure you receive a copy of the 2026 PAR Calendar by pre-ordering. Calendars are available for pre-sale purchase at $28 each.

Things you need to know for the best experience possible!

• Photo Guidelines: Photos should feature pets only—no people allowed. Only one pet per photo, please. All animals must be depicted in a humane and dignified manner.

• Eligibility: Entries may include animals that have passed away; however, to be eligible for the top 13 spots, animals must be living and available to be photographed on specific dates in May and June at BarkHop Studio.

• Professional Photo Session: Winners must be able to attend a photo shoot with their pictured pet(s) on specific dates in May and June at BarkHop Studio. If you're unable to commit to a photo session at that location and during the dates and times offered, you forfeit your winning, and the next top vote-getter will take your pet's spot in the calendar. No exceptions.
